This tour is for keen golfers who prefer the wide open spaces with plenty of room to move instead of feeling trapped in a big city like Auckland. Come south with us and we will show you a good time and some golfing diversity.

SUGGESTED ITINERARY
Day 1.
Arrival in New Zealand and drive to Rotorua (D)
Our Coach Captain will meet you on your arrival at Auckland International Airport and transfer you to your accommodation for tonight in Rotorua.
Accommodation:(three nights) Sudima Hotel, Rotorua (or similar)
Day 2.
Golf at the Springfield Golf Club (BD)
Already you will have experienced the sulphuric type smell synonimous with Rotorua. It comes from the geothermal activity under ground which also craetes boiling mud and spectacular Geysers.
Springfield is a full championship course and whilst not as long as other championship courses, it boasts very narrow fairways which can making a good score difficult.
Some sight seeing can be achieved around the golf.
Day 3.
Golf at the Rotorua Golf Club,Arikikapkapa (BD)
Arikikapakapa is a well drianed links type course which makes it playable all year round.
Over the road from Arikikapakapa is the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute and is also the entrance to Te Puia where mud boils and Geysers perform. A stroll around here may be of interest(own cost)
Day 4.
Golf at the Wairakei International Golf Couse (BD)
Just a short drive south of Rotorua is the town of Taupo and just 10 kilometrs before Taupo is the Wairakei International Golf Course. Reputed to be one of the best inland golf courses in the world, this is a truely magnificent setting for a truely great golfing experience. After golf we will relax at the Bayview Wairakei Resort. (BD)

Day 5.
A free day in Taupo (BD)
Today is a free day to explore some of Taupo's attractions. There is trout fishing, lake cruises, retail therapy, the double decker sightseeing bus, scenic flights, bungy jumping and more. Your coach will take you into town and bring you back to the hotel at a nominated time.
Day 6.
Travel to Napier (BD)
Napier is regarded as the Art Deco City of the world. Devistated in 1931 by a massive earthquake and subsequent fire, the entire central city had to be rebuilt. This has lead to many activities and festivals which contain an Art Deco theme. We will take a guided tour of the CBD today to explain and veiw these historic buildings. We will take you to one of the many winery restaurants which are in Napier and Hastings, for lunch (own cost)
Accommodation:(two nights) Scenic Circle Te Pania Hotel (or similar)
Day 7
Golf at Maraenui Golf Club (BD)
Maraenui Golf Club is a deceptivly flat course which fools even the best golfers as they often misjudge the distance to the pin. 18 holes of golf is available on this top members club whilst right next door to the 18 hole course is the Awatoto Public 9 hole course which some may prefer to play, as well as or instead fo the 18 holw course.
Day 8
Travel to Palmerston North (BD)
This will be a pleasant drive through some of New Zealand's best farming land. We will travel through small towns which were the life blood of the local farming community and continue to change with the times
Accommodation:(two nights) Kingsgate Hotel, Palmerston North (or similar)
Day 9
Golf at Manawatu Golf Club also known as Hokowhitu Golf Club (BD)
This is also a members course which can host national competitions and, like most golf clubs, it is still a demanding challenge. We will let you lose in town for some retail therapy at some stage
Day 10
Golf at Taumarunui Golf Club (BD)
Leaving Palmerston North early we can comfortably make a lunch time tee off on the last leg of the golfing experience. Taumarunui is a pictureque undulating course set in the centre of the North Island
Accommodation: Central Motor Inn, Taumarunui (or similar)
Day 11
Return to Auckalnd Airport (BD)
Today we say farewell and hope you enjoyed the experience
